Langtang Gosaikunda Sundarijal trekking is 50 kilometers away from Kathmandu city and is also the starlight point for the popular trek to Halambu the nearest Sherpa village. The main reservoir which suppers drinking water to the valley is roughly on hour walk uphill from here. Sundarijal ( 350m ) is the best place to start a Helambu trek. Sundarijial the trail climbs continuously through forests to a medieval-looking reservoir dam and waterworks.
